What this can cover.

For owners

Scope is set per client. Not every line below applies to every engagement — some are not necessary at all — and what we take on is agreed with you before any work starts.

250.1Owner Compensation StrategySalary, distributions, and retirement contributions set with the tax return open — not guessed at.
250.2Concentration & LiquidityA plan for the fact that most of your net worth is one illiquid asset — reserves, credit, and diversification on a schedule.
250.3Retirement Plan DesignSolo 401(k) to cash balance — the owner’s largest deduction and wealth builder, designed for your payroll.
250.4Exit & Succession ReadinessValuation, deal structure, and after-tax proceeds modeled years before a sale — when you can still change the answer.
250.5Estate & Risk CoordinationBuy-sell funding, key-person coverage, and wealth transfer that survive both the exit and the estate.
250.6Personal Portfolio DesignA portfolio invested around the business’s risk — not blind to it.

Built with your CPA at the table.

The Xel way

Business owners get the most fragmented advice in finance: a CPA who sees the company, an advisor who sees the brokerage account, an insurance agent who sees neither. The expensive decisions live in the gaps — owner comp that ignores QBI, a sale negotiated before anyone models the after-tax number, a buy-sell agreement no one funded.

At Xel the same table holds all of it. Your tax plan, your exit readiness, your retirement design, and your coverage are one engagement — led by Saad El-Hajjaoui, CFP® through Xel Wealth Management, Inc., a Registered Investment Adviser held to the fiduciary standard.

FAQs.

Quick answers
When should I start planning an exit?Three to five years out — that’s when entity structure, deal readiness, and tax elections can still move the after-tax number materially. The best time to start is before you think you need to.
Nearly everything I have is in the business. Isn’t wealth management premature? The opposite — that’s exactly when comp strategy, retirement plan design, and liquidity planning matter most. The portfolio comes later; the plan starts now.
Will you work with my attorney and banker?Yes — we coordinate with outside counsel, lenders, and deal advisors routinely. Integration is the point.
Who actually provides the investment advice?Xel Wealth Management, Inc., a Registered Investment Adviser. Advice is fiduciary — it must be in your interest, and fees are transparent.
